this is prudence's new favorite spot: my laptop provided by the office. speaking of work, a memo went around yesterday asking that if any of the company's journalists (perhaps the title 'photo editor' is exempt) have personal blogs, we should make sure to state that our personal online musings in no way reflect the opinion of the magazine/website we work for. there, i typed it for all 6 of you readers to see. my 'prudie and rah!' postings will no longer get me in trouble professionally...but this shot of dear prudence just might...NEW CATEGORY: show of the week: califone and iron and wine at the orpheum theatre: beautiful, except for the drunk boys sitting beside us who kept screaming "woo! rockenroll!!' at califone, until the lead singer retorted 'what?! we're not rock 'n' roll.'
