cat in the hat (collar)

we found out this week that sara 'the cat' furgason has an aggressive strain of mammary carcinoma. we haven't told her though and she is oblivious to it, even though she has a huge incision running down her stomach all stitched up. she's still racing around, talking to walls, walking into every closet and cabinet door i open and especially covering me in kisses. let's keep this our secret for now, but keep her in your prayers please. thanks.

brooklyn seems to agree with us

we've settled into carroll gardens, into probably the nicest place i've ever had in new york. i could walk these streets forever and already feel like i want to grow old here. went to my first sample sale since being back (j crew and madewell, it was a madhouse but i put up a good fight) and already won a little money from a mega millions card. life is good here.

we're slowly getting there

wendi flew rahrah in last week, so the band is all back together now residing in carroll gardens. moving into an empty apt this weekend...should be interesting. headed back to l.a. to tie up some loose ends on friday the 13th...wish us luck. in the meantime, love this image called paris from my new favorite blog fifi lapin, what shall i wear today? xo

i swear to god these guys just show off when company arrives. last night for some reason sara decided she could tolerate prudence enought to let her lay beside her.

then sara even let pru burry her face into her side and put her little paw around her.

this is breaking my heart, because just as they are now, four years later, being so nice to each other i have to separate them and go away for a couple of months to work. it's like they just started a band and now they have to break up...

they sleep A LOT
