this is my home life if i happen to be on the couch. it's snuggly and warm and funny. so in honor of our couch life i am hawking some seriously amazing organic skin products from the u.k., neal's yard remedies, to help pay for rah (the one with cancer) and prudie's (the one with kidney disease and high blood pressure) vet bills. and it's fine for you to say no, because neal's yard remedies do too, meaning:
we found out this week that sara 'the cat' furgason has an aggressive strain of mammary carcinoma. we haven't told her though and she is oblivious to it, even though she has a huge incision running down her stomach all stitched up. she's still racing around, talking to walls, walking into every closet and cabinet door i open and especially covering me in kisses. let's keep this our secret for now, but keep her in your prayers please. thanks.
we've settled into carroll gardens, into probably the nicest place i've ever had in new york. i could walk these streets forever and already feel like i want to grow old here. went to my first sample sale since being back (j crew and madewell, it was a madhouse but i put up a good fight) and already won a little money from a mega millions card. life is good here.
